KO-NEKT’s Play & Skills Centre in Ardrossan offers truly flexible care, from group sessions in our centre to one-to-one or two-to-one support in the community, or a blend of both. Our purpose-built zones — including a sensory room, indoor and outdoor play areas, media room and kitchen facilities — provide the perfect environment for building confidence, resilience and essential life skills. Guided by a person-centred approach, our support is shaped by the young people themselves, promoting choice, inclusion and independence within a nurturing, community-connected setting.

Service Manager (aka The Pocket Rocket)I joined KO-NEKT (formerly ACS) in 2018 as an ASN Support Practitioner and quickly found my stride – by 2020, I’d been promoted to Service Manager. I now lead our Ardrossan Centre with a brilliant team, supporting children and young people with additional support needs. I hold formal qualifications in Childhood Practice, along with years of hands-on experience in early years, adult care, and now my true passion: supporting children with ASN. What I love most about my role is making a genuine difference. KO-NEKT’s person-centred approach means every child is seen, heard, and supported in a way that works for them. I’m all about building strong relationships with families, creating a safe, fun, and welcoming space, and always looking for ways to improve what we do. I love this job!

Saturday Kids Cave
(Age 5 – 12)
Join us every Saturday for a fun-filled day of imagination and creativity! Our Saturday Kids Club is the perfect place for kids to explore, create, and play in a safe and exciting environment. From awesome arts and crafts to thrilling games and cool learning activities, every Saturday brings something new! Our friendly and caring team is here to make sure your child has a blast while making new friends and discovering their talents. Don’t miss out on a Saturday full of fun, laughter, and endless adventures. Come and make some unforgettable memories at the Kids Club!

After School Kids Cave
(Age 5-12)
Step into a world of imagination and adventure! Designed to be a haven of fun and learning, we offer a dynamic environment where children can explore, create, and play to their heart’s content after the school bell rings. From exciting arts and crafts to interactive games and educational activities, each day brings new opportunities for growth and laughter. Our experienced and caring staff are committed to providing a safe space where friendships flourish and young minds blossom. Join the Kids Cave After School Club to turn ordinary afternoons into extraordinary adventures filled with creativity, discovery, and endless smiles!

Teen KO-NEKT
(Age 13-18)
We’re dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive space where teens can come together, forge meaningful connections, and embark on exciting journeys of self-discovery. Through engaging activities and shared experiences, we aim to empower each member to embrace their strengths, build confidence, and cultivate lifelong friendships. Join us in fostering an enviorment where diversity is not just accepted, but celebrated, and where every teenager can unfold their potential surrounded by understanding peers. Your story matters at TEEN KO-NEKT and every voice is heard and valued.

KO-NEKT KREW
(Age 18 – 25)
Offers a relaxed and safe environment where members can socialise, have fun, and build lasting friendships. Our inclusive space encourages everyone to be themselves, free from judgement, while engaging in various activities, like game nights, creative workshops, cooking and so much more! Whether you’re looking to share a laugh, explore new hobbies, or simply hang out with peers who understand your experiences, the KO-NEKT KREW is the perfect place! join us every week for a mix of structured events and casual meet-ups!
