Play Areas support positive play, encourage creativity while developing imagination, dexterity and physical, cognitive and emotional strength.
At KO-NEKT we want all children to gain the right support they need to reach their full potential. In each centre we have systems which focus on supporting children to overcome barriers, allowing them to learn freely.
At KO-NEKT we mirror the aims of Scottish government GIRFEC Agenda “Getting it right for every child” this means we build care plans for children to look at outcomes under the following SHANRRI out comes Safe – Healthy – Active – Nurtured – Respected – Responsible and Independent. Trained staff are experienced in creating activities and events for KO-NEKT children which encapsulates the outcomes above.
KO-NEKT offers the opportunity to seek support when required, a chance to connect with other children as well as other parents to share interests and experiences. Children and their families can reconnect with each other or join in on the weekly activities, late night weekend opening hours allows parents to take some respite out and about with friends whilst their children can stay and play. Also, KO-NEKT’s kitchens double as a café style seating area’s for our visitors, parents and children to enjoy.
